Students appearing for IIT JEE 2012, scheduled on April 8th , need to attain atleast 10% marks in Physics, Math and Chemistry

With only 3 months(approximately) left for your IIT JEE exam, you should be more careful on how you are preparing for the next 100 days.
Minimum Requirement
Make sure you have completed your school text books completely and apart from that you should be clear with the basics of all the subjects. Do not try to learn any new topics in these final days and focus on the chapters you are most confident about. Revise your previous mock tests and just go through the mistakes you might have made during those exams.
Tackling your mistakes is the key. There is no point of practising a 100 more questions of the same type and then committing the same silly mistake again in the 101th question.See if you have had a glance of all the books given below:
Physics: Concepts of Physics by H.C.Verma volume 1 and volume 2
Chemistry: NCERT books (only for the theory )
Math: IIT Mathematics ’s by M.L .Khanna
Practice Practice Practice
Try to solve as much problems as possible, figure out your weak areas and try to solve more problems in those areas. Solve all the previous years IIT JEE question papers.
Develop a strategy
You need to develop a strategy that is suitable for you , try to emulate the IIT JEE by sticking to 3 hour exam time and ideally you should not be spending more than one hour on each of the subjects. Do more mock tests which should adapt you to the examination environment well enough that you don’t find the 3 hour exam time less.
Stay focused and Motivate Yourself
Ideally you should be spending 6 to 9 hours a day during these 3 months preparing for IIT JEE (but yes it varies from student to student) and you will need to constantly motivate yourself and be clear of your goals to keep you going. , maintain a positive attitude.
Work hard,be focussed and determined and you should be ready for the examination.
